the garden play

the process of creating costumes for eden's class has begun. i have a boat load of work ahead of me. but i am off to a good start. here is a tutu i made for the flamingos. it will bunch in the back. my intention was to make the tutu look feathery and sassy as well. tutus are actually simple to construct and with absolutely no sewing. here is the tutorial i watched:

I just bought some pink tulle and reused some material i had laying around, cut them into strips and tied them onto a long ribbon. after i finished i poked various pink feathers into the tulle.
