reduce, reuse, recycle

what to do with all of these little plastic gerber baby food containers??? i like to store the homemade baby food i make in glass mainly because it is easier and safer to heat up in the glass. so then what should i do with all of these? i feel like putting them in the recycling bin is such a cop-out and besides, they are just too cute to boot. here are a few ideas i found:

• my fav - great for storing a clean pacifier in my purse
• measure out formula for on the go
• holds cheerios or little snacks on the go
• holds dressings, hummus, diced fruits & veggies in lunch boxes
• great travel container for jewelry
• quarters for the meter
• can be tiny planters for starting seeds
• desk supplies (tacks, paperclips, staples)
• snack size jello or pudding
• mini first aid kit
• blocks (and you could put fun surprises inside for them to open)
• wipes for your small purse
• mini sewing kit
• homemade bath salts as gifts
• kid's crafts - they can paint them or glue things onto the outside and then fill with candy as gifts for their class, etc.
• fill with water and freeze for ice packs for lunches or boo boos
• homemade playdough
• bath toys (poke holes in them for more fun)

...they can be used in a million different ways - be creative - reuse!
